Mini laptops
are fast gaining ground as a choice gadget to purchase. Firstly they are light
making them very portable as they can fit into a handbag, can be carried by
hand or fit into leather folder bag. Many people especially students have come
to discover that the mini laptops can also function the same way as regular
laptops in terms of efficiency and functionality in other words what a regular
laptop can do, a mini laptop can even do better.
This article
details my objective findings based on my pain staking research of the best
mini Laptops to purchase in Nigeria in 2015 using the following criteria;
Price, durability, stylishness, user friendliness, efficiency, portability and
key Features which make them stand out from other products of their kind.

you a user friendly experience then I’ll recommend’ the following laptops to
you to try out especially if you have a low budget to work with.

This is a
very suitable student laptop which serves many functions including education
and entertainment. The silver coloured slim, 14 inch 1.8 kg sized laptop has
many attractive features which students will find very convenient especially
while studying. For instance the efficient multimedia system means you can plug
your earphones and listen to well filtered music sounds as you type your
assignments on it. When you’re bored you can watch movies or surf the web and
you don’t have to worry about your battery going down as it can work for at least
6.5 hours uninterrupted without being plugged to electric mains. As for storage
you have unlimited access to over 500 GB internal storage plus an external hard
disk plus cloud storage and up to 32GB SSD memory card.
This is an
11.6 inch, 1kg mini laptop everyone should own especially students and female
professionals especially journalists, lawyers, accountants, lecturers and ICT
professionals who have to be on the move. Regardless of whether you are in a
community with poor power supply or not you can be sure of 12 hour life battery.
But the performance of this laptop is its main feature for instance its quad
core processor enables the user to carry out smooth multitasking – unlike older
generation computers which might frustrate internet surfing, listening to music
and writing all at once. The laptop is also like a smartphone as it has a touch
screen which makes it another ‘i-pad’ – if you may. The speakers are forward
facing meaning better sound as you listen to music or watch movies.
This is the
cheapest of the mini laptops for review and is therefore very suitable for
students or folks with a low budget but is not necessarily inferior to others
in terms of performance however it lacks some very key functionalities as the
others in this review. One thing you may need to consider is that it has an
android operating system with a full sized accu type keyboard. For its size
which is 998g, it is one of the lightest mini laptops in the market. Its 9
hours battery life and it’s not so stylish look might not be appealing to
trendy folks on a high budget but it can do the job of a reliable mini laptop.
